Hi all,
I am in the process of trying to get my 96 900ss (UK model) back on the road
having noticed that the original switch wiring had corroded where they connect into the neutral switch I have now replaced with a new switch. However, the wire colours from the new switch are now different.
Previously the x2 wires coming out of the switch were red/white and yellow/green.
With the new switch the x2 wires are solid red and solid black.
The new wires are to connect into x2 receiving wires on the frame harness which are yellow/green and blue.
Question is - what is the correct connection of the red and black switch wires? For example does the red connect to the yellow/green or blue wire, or does it not matter?
Appreciate any help!!

Hi Andy!
Our first real question on the site, well done - better dust the docs down...
Elec. Schematic I have shows 2 wires, one of Yellow/Blue and the other Light Blue on the switch (item 14).
Connector on the other side of Yellow/Blue the line is Yellow-Green, I'm not sure if the change from Y/B to Y-G is significant or not.
The switch does not appear to go direct to earth so I'm not sure if the wiring is one way only but I will attempt to find out.
Cheers - Frank
