Not strictly SS but I wanted to jot this info down so. why not here! Bought some excellent R10 LED indicator bulbs from eBay, taking a chance, for a different bike. Turns out the small height R10 Osram bulb on my Scoot require a slightly offset pins arrangement (akin to 4 and 8 oclock positions roughly). The LED bulbs that came have the pins at opposite (at 3 and 9 oclock) and while substantially longer would of worked. Here is an explanation I found: "I read something which kind of makes sense earlier. Apparently (not confirmed), opposite pins are for lights which have coloured lenses fitted as standard (amber/red) and are therefor compatible with clear bulbs. Offset pins are for lights which have clear lenses but require tinted bulbs as standard (OEM). But when you go aftermarket you need different bulbs colours etc for different applications, hence the confusion." I'm thinking of grinding one pin off and in the hope it will still get a good connection - will keep you keen observers posted

Filing a pin down works a treat and the bulb fits precisely BUT
LED flash rate is FAR too HIGH so needs a resistor fitting that I'm not sure I can be bothered with - LoL
Nite, Nite...
